YOU CAN DO IT and RESTORATIVE PRACTICE

Our School values and uses the five You Can Do It foundations to encourage and expect positive behaviours from our students. In 2016 we will focus on Resilience throughout each term. Term 1 will focus on Getting Along, Term 2 Organisation, Term 3 Confidence and Term 4 Persistence.

We currently use the Restorative Approach to discipline in both the classroom and playground settings. This practice focuses on the incident rather than solely on the offending behaviour. The wrong doer and the victim are conferenced about what happened and pertinent questions are asked of both parties to achieve a result that both parties agree upon.
